A Syntegration is a three to five day intensive workshop, in which around 30 persons, all taking part on an equal footing, develop common solutions for a theme.

Team Syntegrity was developed by Stafford Beer, the founder of Management Cybernetics. Team Syntegrity is a practical application of system and information theory about social systems.

Team Syntegrity used the geometric properties of an icosahedron ? an regular platonic solid figure having 30 edges and 12 vertices.

Tensile Integrity exists in an icosahedron: all load bearing elements are in tension and not in compression ? the edges balance tension and compression to enclose 3 dimensional space.

In a Syntegration the participants all work together ? pressure from outside is unnecessary. Real cooperation becomes possible.

Carrying out a Syntegration will result in achieving, within a short timeframe, workable solutions with a large payoff.
